We are seeking highly organised and motivated Systems Engineers with relevant experience in a structured development environment.

Ideal candidates will be experienced working within 'waterfall' or 'V' systems engineering model, with a firm grasp of requirement through to validation engineering. Model based systems engineering skills are desirable.

The Sub-Contractor shall carry out the following activities under this Schedule of Work for the Combat System, Systems Engineering and sub-systems tasks :

• Tasking from the Combat System P6 plan via Jira from the relevant SSNR Combat Systems team lead / SSNR PM team.  Report progress to the same.
• Application of Model Based Systems Engineering best practises to develop the Combat System functional design as it sits within the design of the SSNR "Whole Boat".  The Combat System functional design will enable top level functions to be understood and the contributions of sub-systems to be assigned.  This work will sit alongside decomposition of SSNR Whole Boat, major system level functional and transversal requirements (e.g. policies, general technical requirements, etc.) to combat systems major systems engineers and suppliers.
• The generation of Combat System and sub-system Technical Specifications and Design Descriptions.  Note that these specifications will form the core of sub-contracts placed with our supply chain partners for development and delivery of very significant Combat System capabilities to the SSNR programme.
• Contributing to the development of SSNR Combat System systems engineering strategies and plans that will dictate how later phases of the programme will achieve compliance.
• Update of Combat System Product Breakdown and Bill of Materials items critical features – Space, weight, heat & power (SWH&P)
