Test Analyst - SAP Procurement

Works independently taking full responsibility for a certain test area. Primary role in Quality Assurance in the areas of analysis and design, implementation and execution, in line with agreed plans and strategies.

To perform functional and non-functional testing for the implementation of:
➢ successful business solutions (new and changed applications / functionality),
➢ defect fixes,
➢ system enhancements,
➢ end-to-end, systems integration and regression testing,
➢ disaster recovery testing (this will be for changes to systems or business products) and fixes for incidents,
➢ non-functional testing such as performance-related and security-related testing.

This role identifies and defines the required test scenarios and/or test cases, coordinates the execution of testing inclusive of functional hand-over points, monitors detailed testing progress and results in each test cycle and evaluates the overall quality. The test analyst verifies and validates that the intended solution meets stated requirements, expected outcomes and specifications that guided its design and development, and that they work as expected.
Testing includes all integration to non-SAP external systems.

• Works on multiple phases of a project and/or multiple projects.
  
• Takes responsibility for a certain test area and conditions as well as results evaluation, problem resolution and planning.
  
• Selects appropriate standards, methods, tools and applications for project use.
  
• Reviews quality assurance plans, data, procedures, and scripts.
  
• Creates test cases independently and helps prepare for evaluations. Runs tests and retests as necessary, executing test scripts in area of accountability.
  
• Investigates defined issues with uncertain cause and solicits input in gathering data that help identify and differentiate the symptoms and root causes of defined problems
• Identifies test issues, reports risks and defines regression tests for current and future projects.
• Creates traceability records, from test cases back to requirements, reporting on system quality and collecting metrics on test cases.
• Works on quality assurance projects using available test frameworks and tools focusing on ontime and on-budget project goals.
• Maintains the status of projects and provides guidance to the work of junior team members, works across teams to achieve group goals.

Essential

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
• ISTQB Foundation

• Additional course or certification in Quality Assurance

    ● B2B, ASR, AWR, GTS, Trade Terms, TradeCloud, BambooRose, POS Retalix, POS DM (CAR), POS Integration Management (PIMS), Sales Central (Datarite), INFOR, WMS, SAP COR3 Retail Business Warehouse (BWRetail)
    ● Enterprise ETL and Data Quality Management (SAP Data Services)
    ● JDA Demand Forecasting
  • Intermediate theoretical knowledge in quality assurance methodologies and has awareness of new and emerging technologies and developments.
    
  • Has good applications/technology knowledge, building on specialist domain knowledge and has practical experience of testing tools and frameworks required to deliver.
    
  • Good understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution and planning.
