Harness Design Engineer

• Work with schematic and mechanical team to develop harness portioning
• Work with mechanical engineering teams on harness drawings, solving package issues
• Using component library (terminals, connectors, cables, wires, etc.)
• Creating concept layouts and main cable routes according with customer’s rules
• Merge harness schematics with 3D designs into a consistent data set to be submitted to harness manufacturers
• Generate parametric CAD models in Catia V5/V6 in Electrical Harness Module

• Technical university degree
• Min 1 year experience in a similar position
• Management of the digital model
• 3D CAD software knowledge such as Catia V5/6 or equivalent
• Proficient in MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint 
• Language: Advanced English (writing and speaking) / French is an advantage

• Specific knowledge of wiring
• Good level of English, French would be an asset
• Very good communication skills
• Organized and rigorous person
• Synthesis capacity
