Agile Coach

The successful candidate will manage the full project life cycle, setting standards for assignments and applications. Pivotal consulting role in providing examination of the existing practices of the projects across the organisation and making recommendations for alignment and improvement.

• Work to educate clients on the emerging practices in relation to their specific industry and key business requirements
• Chalk out trust maturity phases and help clients to move up their maturity curve, thus maximising the value from common Analytics tools
• Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
• Pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall solution and guide teams on project processes and deliverables
• Work in partnership with the Management team, create the strategic plan and implement new processes and approaches to achieve it
• Actively coordinate a successful team in line with the strategic plan
• Write, or direct the writing of white papers that add further insight and thought in the solution area
• Guide and assist the professional development of specialist team members
• Ensure the organisation has skilled and motivated staff with high morale and a clear understanding of their career direction, as measured in the staff survey and via feedback from the performance management process
• Development of high value/high potential clients, managing account performance and development, providing assistance to and liaising with the Country MD regarding sector strategy and growth
• Leadership responsibility for provision of consulting services to corporate clients and achieving agreed objectives

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
• Has achieved a formal certification as a Scrum Master, Kanban Lead, Lean Six Sigma certification or similar Agile approach
• Proven evidence of Coaching skill development through experience and/or formal certification

Desirable:

• Management qualification or relevant years of experience
• Knowledge of MS SharePoint

• Has an innovative approach – a bold thinker and doer, matching creativity with vigilance
• Excellent communication and presentations skills - Experience in the creation and delivery of Agile Training courses to clients
• Demonstrates Lean Thinking and an Agile Mind-set in how they work internally and externally
• People management skills - introducing and building ways in which people can learn from each other, encouraging mentoring and the transfer of knowledge by designing and delivering learning interventions

• Experience of introducing new concepts or strategies that significantly improve or revise the way business is done through to implementation.
• Proven evidence of Coaching skill development through experience and/or formal certification
• Actively involved in the Agile community through publications, speaking events or facilitating community events
• Proven experience in conducting Agile Health-checks for clients and presenting the findings to clients
• Extensive application/technology and domain knowledge and has recognised expertise in business consulting including participating in the identification of and planning for future resource needs
• Extensive experience with all stages of the product development lifecycle (concept to launch).
• Strong knowledge of new and emerging technologies based on own area of expertise
• Experience in managing the change control procedure.
• Proven experience in heading multiple teams in agile software delivery approaches, at least 2 to 3 years real experience
• Ability to manage own expenses and ensure adherence of others to the expense policy
• Proposes project specific requirements to be included in the budget
• Ensures that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off
