BSW Platform Service Design Engineer

The primary duties will include the impact analysis of the requirements received to identify any error or blocking point to be reviewed by work product provider, implement and integrate network mapping for Ethernet, CAN, LIN, for all ECUs defined in topologies, implement signal based and service oriented communication between SWC around topology, analyze reports of the extract generated by modeling tool in configurator tool to identify and correct any error identified, support integration and validation organization whenever a defect is found. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of AutoSAR Classic architecture, as well as fundament of AutoSAR adaptive architecture and possess an interest in state-of-the-art automotive compute platforms and emerging computational technologies.

Bachelor’s degree in EEE / ECE / CSE

• A minimum of 7 years of embedded software development experience in AutoSAR Classic projects across several areas, especially ComStack and Diagnostic
• Knowledge of Automotive communication paradigms (signal-based, service-oriented)
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR System Template specification / SW Component Template
• Competence in developing with Davinci Configurator
• Travel including international up to 20%
• Good communication skills and the ability to interface with algorithm developers, vehicle integration and validation engineering organizations.

• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum software development process.
• Experience in integrating bootloaders, embedded OS, OSEK, RTOS and BSP development.
• Experience with UDS, XCP and instrumented embedded control units.
• Knowledge of PREEvision modelling
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR Manifest specification
• Experience with Ethernet networking protocols such as 802.3, 802.1AS, TSN, and requisite transport layer formats
