The Delivery Director & Client Engagement Manager role is a critical component in a professional services, solutions-based, delivery model, with its primary objectives being:

    • Leadership & Performance management of the people delivering the work – our consultants
    • Delivery oversight/assurance on the work we’re selling/delivering
    • Support to the Sales/Account Execs who are managing the client contracts/proposal/sales process

    Responsibilities

    • Work with consultants to develop and track their professional development plans.
    • Ensure that the Consultants on your team are aware of and understand the Trissential marketing message and service/solution offerings.   
    • Supports and collaborates with HR and Resource Management team as Employee Relations needs occur.  This includes but is not limited to performance evaluations, professional development activities and staff recognition.  
    • Through management and direction, promote company culture and values.
    • Ensures delivery oversight/assurance for all staff/projects including alignment to expectations and strategy. Drives quality client deliverables within scope of MSA/SOW all while aligning to Trissential brand.
    • Financial Oversight:
    • Time & Expense:  EMs are custodians of company resources and therefore have a fiduciary responsibility to ensure optimal utilisation of these resources,
    • Project Margin:  EM’s have oversight on how profitable or ”financially on target” projects are 
    •  
    • Establish and ensure strong communication channels exist between client, project teams and management.
    • On-board consultants for preparation at the client site.
    • This role will have a billable utilization requirement based on Business Unit need.
    • Participate in company meetings, practice meetings and business unit leadership team meetings.
    • Assist as needed with sales pursuits providing expertise as requested.  This includes but is not limited to contributing to the response and delivery of RFP’s and engaging in matching and recruiting and lead generation or other activities.
    • Assists with overall account management and collaborates with engagement and account managers for coaching opportunities for consultants.
    • Collaborate with recruiting and sales to determine consultant marketability and salary ranges.

    Qualifications

    Essential: 

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
    • 5 years industry experience using process related tools and frameworks (e.g., RPA, Process design and analysis)

    Desirable:

    • Management qualification or relevant years of experience
    • Knowledge of financial processes
    • One or more industry certification e.g. IIBA, SixSigma, other process related certification.

    • Excellent client facing skills, as an expert in their field has experience of influencing client decision making and direction, takes time to establish underlying needs of client beyond those initially expressed.
    • Applies insight, originality and a broad perspective to generate revolutionary solutions.
    • Experience of introducing new concepts or strategies that significantly improve or revise the way business is done through to implementation.
    • Excellent communication and presentations skills, maintains confidentiality, shares ideas and information, facilitates discussions and transfers knowledge to diverse audiences to achieve collective objectives.
    • Strong theoretical knowledge in business consulting methodologies, applying standards and specialist consulting expertise to deliver whilst providing effective management to teams.
    • Experience and track record of successful delivery utilizing multiple business consulting methodologies, frameworks, tools and techniques.
    • Is able to convince prospective clients with great command on subject matter depicting solution proposal using presentations and demos.
    • Extensive application/technology and domain knowledge and has recognised expertise in business consulting including participating in the identification of and planning for future resource needs.
    • Extensive experience with all stages of the product development lifecycle (concept to launch).
    • Strong knowledge of new and emerging technologies based on own area of expertise.
    • Experience in managing the change control procedure. Can recommend and advocate substantive process enhancements and assess both internal and external implications.
    • Experience in diagnosing problems using formal problem-solving tools and techniques from multiple angles and probing underlying issues to generate multiple potential solutions.
    • Experience in advising clients and clearly communicating the benefits of implementing specific solutions and identifing areas to add value.
    • Expert skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
    • A proven record in collaborating with stakeholders at all levels, in the conduct of investigations for strategy studies, business requirements specifications and feasibility studies.
    • Good people management skills. Acts as a role model for continous learning and development, challenges others to reflect and learn.
    • Experience of managing people and creating an environment that celebrates both successes and failures.
    • Good self management. Takes on high commitments and works to achieve results. Keeps momentum going over time despite setbacks, showing resilience in the face of challenges and looks for ways to beat previous standards.
    • Experience in managing upwards with multiple people, gaining their trust quickly.
    • Ability to manage own expenses and ensure adherence of others to the expense policy.
    • Proposes project specific requirements to be included in the budget
    • Ensures that project deliverables are completed within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets, and are signed off.
