Automotive Packaging CAD Engineer

• Perform general vehicle packaging activities with respect to positioning of components and creating packaging schemes and layouts;
• Assembling the vehicle's systems and components, taking into account all the technical-economic aspects, by using Catia V6;
• Create 2D/3D concept parts and assembly models using Catia V6;
• Participate in internal and external design reviews;
• Perform feasibility studies for different systems positioning;
• Generate and manage documentation;
• Participate in project meetings with the design and engineering teams to choose the best technical solution

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Design, or a related field;
• Experience with CAD tools such as Catia V5/6 - minimum 1 year (mandatory);
  
• Previous experience in design of automotive components preferred - minimum 1 year;
  
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerances ;
• Advanced level of English: writing and speaking;
• Problem solving skills.
