Software Validation Engineer

Expleo needs THE talent to contribute to the start of a new engineering project! What is it? You will be member of the Software Engineering team in the automotive industry! Your mission will be to develop SIL and HIL environment for automated OTA evaluation.

The job as a Software Validation Engineer

• Develop SiL and HiL environment for automated OTA evaluation:
• Proficiency in Python development
• Familiarity with Docker or equivalent container technology
• Experience in Linux shell scripting, yaml, and GDB debugger
• Knowledge of FMUs and Model Based Design
• Ability to write test requirements and experience with Behaviour Driven Development (Gherkin)
• Understanding of CAN technology

What are our key selection criteria for joining Expleo software engineering Team?

• Software developer with over 5 years of experience
• Proficient in Python for embedded applications
• Experience with Matlab-Simulink
• Knowledgeable in coding standards for quality code
• Experienced in software testing practices like BDD and TDD
• Skilled in writing quality requirements
• Able to manage projects independently, including communication with colleagues and external parties, and maintaining project schedules
• Problem-solving mindset
• Strong reporting skills to peers and management
• Experience in the automotive industry

Additional skills considered advantageous:

• Familiarity with JAMA
• Familiarity with GitHub and GitHub Actions
• Proficient in C++ coding
• Experience with RUST
