We are looking for a Test Analyst- SAP MM to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg (Remote). 

As a Test  Analyst specializing in SAP MM, your role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and dependability of our SAP MM implementation and improvements. You'll collaborate closely with diverse teams to grasp business needs, craft thorough test plans, and conduct meticulous testing to validate SAP MM functionality. Leveraging your expertise in SAP MM and quality assurance, you'll uphold the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our SAP environment. Additionally, you'll operate autonomously, providing seasoned guidance, overseeing technical aspects, and leading Quality Assurance projects by leveraging available frameworks and tools, while adhering to project plans to achieve on-time and on-budget goals

• Leads or manages multiple phases of technical aspects within projects of moderate scope or complex assignments, overseeing a specific test area.
• Ensures project adherence to quality standards by offering technical guidance and insight in planning, designing, executing testing, and developing procedures related to product quality.
• Participates in formal reviews of business requirements and application designs, ensuring comprehensive test coverage based on requirements and design specifications. Proposes changes to processes or working instructions.
• Refines requirements through discussions with relevant business stakeholders, suggesting strategies and methods to enhance test plans and processes, while understanding the overall test strategy.
• Leads test design plans, establishing test scenarios and determining entrance and exit criteria.
• Develops system and business-relevant test cases through in-depth technical analysis of functional specifications.
• Identifies potential causes of problems, analyzing multiple alternatives, risks, and benefits for various potential solutions.
• Analyzes and reports overall test status and results, identifying issues and reporting to relevant stakeholders, while managing risks to project success.
• Identifies and manages critical path of testing, ensuring execution of project regression tasks, defining regression tests for future projects, and coordinating product verification and validation.
• Develops a network to support and add value to client engagements, including company, clients, and external professional networks.
• Test Planning: Develops detailed test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications for SAP MM modules.
• Test Execution: Executes test cases to validate SAP MM functionality, including procurement, inventory management, material master data, and other relevant processes.
• Defect Management: Identifies, tracks, and reports defects, collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Regression Testing: Conducts regression testing to ensure SAP MM enhancements and configuration changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Documentation: Documents test results, defects, and other relevant information in a clear and organized manner.
• Collaboration: Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure alignment on requirements and testing activities.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identifies opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

•  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
•  ISTQB Advanced.
•  Additional course or certification in Quality Assurance.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on SAP MM testing.
• Proficiency in SAP MM modules, including procurement, inventory management, and material master data.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience with test management tools such as HP ALM, Jira, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with automated testing tools and scripting languages is desirable.
