Plans and manage the reliability, availability, maintenance, system security, and life cycle cost (LCC) activities of the finished product on time and on budget.
Prepare RAMS and LCC program plans describing the reliability, availability, maintenance and security objectives of the system.
Examine the output for each batch of design and testing work to ensure accuracy, completeness
Monitor reliability, availability and maintenance of systems during commissioning and warranty periods, publication of monthly reports until criteria are met. Detect and report systems that do not meet the objectives of the program and assist the Chief Engineer in the definition of corrective action plans, compliance with RAMS contractual requirements and LCC program plans.
Maintain and prepare a file documenting the failure of the system for each individual case
Track material repair reports and determine if trends exist in failures that may require corrective action
Implement Reliability Demonstration Tests (RTD) and Maintenance Demonstration Test (MDT) and perform / coordinate testing and publish the final report
Participate in design reviews and portal for all systems / subsystems
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical trades, electronics or mechatronics applied to the railway, automotive, aeronautics or energy sectors.
