2. The role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Validation and Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating diagnostic and general specifications into test requirements, implementing and automating test scripts, and performing in-vehicle and bench evaluations. This position requires strong expertise in tools like PTC Integrity, CodeBeamer, JAMA, and vTestStudio, as well as experience with over-the-air (OTA) update validations and ECU evaluations.

• Interpret general and diagnostic specifications into comprehensive test requirements using tools such as PTC Integrity, CodeBeamer, or JAMA.
• Input created test requirements into test scripts using vTestStudio.
• Perform on-vehicle evaluations at TME facilities, including end-of-period in-vehicle validations.
• Conduct bench evaluations in collaboration with cross-functional teams based on vehicle development schedules.
• Evaluate and validate OTA updates for older-generation vehicles in production, ensuring seamless integration
• Review UCM and UCM Master specification documents to identify discrepancies.
• Issue, track, and follow up on bugs using Jira tickets related to specifications and demonstrator implementations.

3. Requirements:

We are not looking for the candidate that ticks all the boxes, but if you find yourself in the following sentences then we would be glad to have a chat with you!

• Proficiency in PTC Integrity, CodeBeamer, JAMA, and vTestStudio.
• Strong experience with OTA updates, ECU validation, and system diagnostics.
• Familiarity with Jira for issue tracking and follow-up.
• Previous experience in vehicle evaluation, test script automation, and bench testing.
• Understanding of UCM documentation and master specification validation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across divisions.
