    We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our proactive and innovative team to provide pragmatic, creative business focused solutions throughout the UK Technology business.

    Reporting to the HR Manager this role will act as an advisor to both employee’s and senior stakeholders on all HR matters.

     

    Job responsibilities include managing employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits ensuring policies are consistent and HR queries are dealt with promptly and efficiently.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide an efficient, effective and customer focused HR service which supports all aspects of the employee’s relationship and engagement with the business including terms and conditions of employment, training and development activities, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies

    • Build effective working relationships with employees at all levels, providing advice and guidance on a range of HR policies and HR related issues to support understanding and ensure effective communication of good HR practice

    • Managing employee relations cases including performance management, sickness absence, disciplinary and grievances and flexible working requests and providing coaching to Business Managers to ensure cases are managed quickly and efficiently.

    • Build relationships with managers at all levels and develop a good understanding of their work so as to be able to act as a true trusted advisor

    • Work alongside HR Manager to develop and coordinate employee engagement initiatives e.g annual engagement surveys, assist management with action planning to improve employee engagement

    • Work with HR Manager to develop and evaluate employee progress development programme to support business needs including management development, talent management and succession planning

    • Administering and managing internal cost-effective benefits programs including pension plans, life assurance and private health

    • Engage in promoting the company core values, monitoring employee health and wellbeing and delivering improvements through appropriate and considered employee benefits

    Qualifications

    • CIPD qualified to level 5 or equivalent work experience
    • HR related degree or equivalent would be an advantage

    Skills

     

    • Extensive knowledge of UK employment law is essential
    • Ability to demonstrate excellent stakeholder management skills
    • Knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures
    • Excellent communication skills to communicate with a diverse client group who are not all based in the same location

    Experience

    • Experience in providing advice and support to senior managers on strategic matters
    • Experience in leading HR projects and implementing new initiatives
    • Prior experience managing HR ER matters with limited supervision
    • Previous experience working for a consultancy / professional services organisation with multi-site locations would be highly desirable

    What do I need before I apply

    This is a full-time role based in our London Moorgate office

    We are a consultancy so our employee's are based nationally - some travel to client sites might be required
