Process Engineer (Tychy, Poland)

Co-Design Product & Process

• Conduct style checks and provide quotations
• Define scope according to RFQ schedule and follow-up
• Manage and check digital ECM quotations and validation plans
• Determine necessary parts for mock-ups
• Validate robustness and technical feasibility
• Ensure compliance with safety and sensitive processes
• Oversee DST and mountability

Assembly Process Adaptation

• Develop assembly sequences, respecting target flowcharts and justifying deviations
• Provide quotations for different solutions including time, investment, and surface requirements
• Define operating processes and create process sheets
• Collaborate with client on product and process feasibility
• Ensure technical proposals guarantee mountability

Requests for Tools/Equipment

• Create FOA requests for specific tools or feasibility studies
• Provide CAO environment to tool suppliers for feasibility studies
• Participate in integrating and validating processes
• Fill in delivery acceptance evaluations

Process Sheet Construction

• Create assembly process sheets for the main car and all variations
• Define operating modes using MTM2 analysis
• Use PLM to create illustrations from CAO
• Analyze and reduce tightening diversity
• Ensure process sheets are written in English and provide automatic foreign translations as needed

Validation on Plant and Pilot Line

• Transfer process sheets to the manufacturing team
• Participate in updating process sheets during slow builds
• Support assembly unit leaders for the first vehicle
• Adjust times for specific process sheets
• Transfer all P sheets to the serial team

• Relevant experience in process engineering within the automotive industry
• Proficiency in Autocad, Equinox, TiCon, Catia V6, and other relevant engineering tools
• Knowledge of assembly techniques, ergonomics, PLM, MTM2 certification, and various technical review tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
