This role is responsible for the fulfilment of resource requirements against business demands by providing workable resourcing solutions. Ensures that the organisation has the right people with the right skills available at the right time to accomplish the work that needs to be done for the clients.


  • Responsible for closely monitoring the bench/unbilled resources, making sure they are assigned for suitable billable opportunities within a stipulated frame.
  • Work with the business and stakeholders to identify and deliver the most appropriate resources to meet client needs from the available resource pool.
  • Work to provide resourcing options and information on consultant availability and skillsets to key stakeholders in response to resource requests.
  • Provide the HR Recruitment team with additional resourcing needs beyond the capacity of the current resource pool while making clear the urgency of each requirement.
  • In conjunction with the annual business plan, co-ordinate and implement resource management (workforce planning and deployment) activity to support the overall business objectives and strategy.
  • Produce management information for the resource management function and client needs
  • Use management information and highlight business trends and any risks/exceptions.
  • Management of all movements within the business unit (joiners, leavers, engagements, secondments, transfers, maternity).
  • Liaise with Global Mobility in respect of compliance around immigration and visas.
  • Work with resource management or operations colleagues in other countries across the group to support resourcing of international engagements, ensure optimal use of the global bench and help to drive global delivery.
  • Liaise with Test Centre operations teams to identify suitable off-shore consultants for both landed on-shore and off-shore delivery; managing landed resources. Promote mobility when required, and ensure that relevant third parties are engaged to support effective pricing, cross border deployments and tax/immigration activities.
  • Assist with the preparation of client screening documentation, scheduling client interviews and on-boarding of resources to new client engagements.
  • Effective communication to consultants regarding next role, providing as much information as possible about the client, role and logistics of the client site.



  • Has achieved trusted advisor status at a senior level with the client.
  • Excellent client facing skills, as an expert in field experience of influencing client decision making and direction.
  •  Experience of introducing new concepts or strategies that significantly improve or revise the way business is done through to implementation.
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills. Ability to multi-task and prioritise across multiple clients and activities.
  • Experience of working within a business with an off shore/on site delivery model.



  • Experience in resourcing, operations or workforce planning in a similar environment.
  • Strong experience in end to end resource management process in a consultancy (or similar industry).
  • Broad knowledge of the IT and Quality Services market.
  • Previous commercial experience in a professional services engagement framework.
  • Ability to work in a matrix-management environment with strong client/customer service orientation
  • Strong experience of using resource management systems to ensure the maintenance, update and accuracy of management information.
