Overview

Do you crave collaboration and love creating insights that help organizations improve their agility in response to a rapidly changing market? Are you ready to roll up your sleeves with clients and cultivate/plan/manage and coach in an environment that’s ready to be changed? We are looking for innovative thinkers to join our fast-growing Transformation team. The work will be primarily focused on helping organizations deliver major change and adopt agile ways of working to achieve strategic goals more quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Coach organizations and teams on methodology and practices eco-system and influence leadership on the culture change required to shift from a traditional to an Agile methodology and mindset
  • Direct activities to define, deploy, evaluate and support common agile standards and best practices, processes, tools and process/performance metrics
  • Administer Agile organizational and team maturity assessments and develop coaching plans accordingly
  • Develop and deliver presentations to various levels of stakeholders and leaders and facilitates working sessions to identify resolutions to barriers to scaling use of Agile
  • Assist Lean-Agile Leaders and other Agile team members with creating and maintaining collaborative communication sites and tools; launching and facilitating Agile Open Space, Communication Forums and regular Agile recognition events
  • Actively shares experience and knowledge gained on engagements with colleagues through formal and informal avenues

Thought leadership

  • Awareness of new and emerging technologies and developments.
  • Provide insight to new and emerging perspectives and point of views on Agile and related subjects.
  • Thinks like a transformation / agile change agent / evangelist industry professional can quote current and extensive industry data, and demonstrates ability to apply best practices.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business, organisational psychology or similar
  • 5+ years of experience leading agile teams, including formal training and coaching
  • Previous experience in a breadth of project management and/or technical roles that employed Agile delivery
  • Knowledge of organisational development and how to work with team and management to change the environment

  • Excellent client- facing skills. Takes time to establish underlying needs of client beyond those initially expressed
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good people skills
  • Good self-management. Takes on high commitments and works to achieve results. Keeps momentum going over time despite setbacks, showing resilience in the face of challenges and looking for ways to beat previous standards.

Experience

  • Experience in managing up-wards with multiple people, gaining their trust quickly
  • Demonstrates Lean Thinking and an Agile Mind-set in how they work internally and externally
  • Holistic view of design, technology and business
  • Experience with coaching, mentoring and facilitation in matrix organizations including highly diverse technology environments
  • Actively involved in the Agile community (Locally or Globally) through participation, publications or speaking events

What do I need before I apply

  • Must speak, read and write fluent Norwegian
  • Norwegian / EU citizenship
