The job as a System Engineer
- Analyze, clarify and confirm input requirements and needs
- Perform conceptual design by preparing system models, design studies, design rationales, design principles, real time analysis, modelling & mock-ups... for technical de-risking and optimization
- Elaborate formal modelling and requirements writing according to design standard and guidelines
- Partner with RAM, safety, sub-system, cybersecurity, software, product, and V&V teams to develop design concepts, to ensure specifications completeness and acceptance
- Call, conduct, and participate to technical reviews (design reviews, document reviews) including consultation to end-users and experts
- Ensure that the system follows standardization approach by reusing existing solutions or by implementing reusable solutions, and by providing an efficient system deployment kit (tools, user documentation…)
- Provide support to Program external stakeholders (Customers, Users, Tenders)
What are our key selection criteria for joining Expleo system engineering Team?
- Engineering degree with specific training/experience in the fields of Industrial IT, Computer Sciences, Electronics.
- Experience with programming languages
- Besides, the following experience are a strong asset for this project: modelling methods such as UML SADT, SysML; redaction of specification, safety systems and signaling systems
- Fluency in English is a must and knowledge of French is a strong asset
Additional Information
- Remote work is possible with a requirement to be in the office at least 2 days per week.
- Ad hoc travel may be required for events or workshops, limited to 2-3 times a year.
