This is a contract role for an initial period of 3 months, it will be working on site at the client’s facility in Bristol. Bristol offices.

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Technical Administrator to join our proactive and innovative team working as part of an integrated systems engineering team responsible for a variety of projects in the Defence Marine sector. The purpose of this role is to support a large programme with reporting aspects and administrative duties.
Structures is the term used to define one of the Naval Architect Sub Disciplines. This sub discipline involves the design of the overall ship structural arrangement. This involves designing wholeship ship scantlings, including side shell, decks and bulkheads. Major equipment seats will be designed and integrated into ship mainhull structure. The ship is designed in accordance with Lloyds Naval Ship Rules.
Finite element analysis is one of the methods used to undertake complex analysis.
The engineers will work within the Central Structures Team, which supports three main projects, Type 26, Hunter Class and the Canadian Surface Combatant. These projects are at varying stages of the engineering lifecycle and maturity. The engineers will be deployed across these three programmes.
